Comment by vict How can someone be selling those Sands of Time for g on my server?.. Are there any kind of trick to get them cheaper or maybe for free by farming?.. Or is the person just helpfull and wanna give them away cheap? Comment by Dudes here's a question is there any way that i can buy this sand with lower price? I am grateful to that answer me fast. Comment by Nasuda With the new 6. This being said, 3, gold is one of the lowest prices you'll see, assuming that the Goblin racial stat doesn't affect the price.

Comment by bwe There is no such thing as cloned items. Comment by superthrust Does anyone know if the alchemy req. Trying to do my staff quest. She's an alchemist BUT not 75 cata. Comment by maledin As of patch 8. I'm not sure if this intended, but it'll help make crafting the Vial of the Sands mount a bit more affordable. I also have to check if Big Keech also has a new faction tag with the Vale of Eternal Blossoms rework in this patch, which will make crafting other mounts cheaper.

Comment by Voniazmogis These cost gold each on my goblin with no reputation with Uldum Accord. Another comment has stated that goblins do not get the discount for these materials but that seems to be incorrect. Edit: this was in the new Uldum, not old Uldum. To get to the new Uldum I believe level is required although it could possibly be The old Yasmin still has no faction and therefore the discounts are not available at all in old Uldum.

Comment by Ceraina Sooo. Being efficient ahem, lazy I wanted to get rep on the highest level toon, who is NOT my alchemist with the Vial of the Sands recipe. This was after spending a few hours attempting to get the alchemist through Uldum for rep with little success. I checked both the Vial and the Sands to ensure neither said "binds on pickup. A month of Uldum Accord rep farming and the character who has the rep to buy the sands doesn't have the profession requirement.

And the character on which I spent way too many hours farming the recipe, she still stands at neutral with Uldum Accord. Now to decide if it's worth it to drop Herbalism for alchemy on the main The lower level alchemist isn't going to get Uldum rep, cause I my druid has too much sand in her buttcrack already.

No way Imma do that again Skim reading: Not always your best choice. In case my rambling didn't connect the dots for you: You must have the Uldum rep on a character with level 75 Cata alchemy.

Determined to fix his mistakes, he used the Mask of the Wraith to change events. Eventually, he kills the Dahaka and spares Kaileena of her predetermined death at his hand.

The Vizier reveals to a captive Kaileena that when the Maharajah's army arrived to the Island of Time, they found the Dagger of Time and the empty hourglass. The Vizier resolved to find the Empress of Time and achieve his goal of immortality. With Sands of Time under his control, he transformed himself and his entire army into Sand Creatures, but inadvertently tainted the Prince in the process.

The Sands of Time give physical form to the darker persona of the Prince and allow the Vizier to conquer the city. When the Vizier is killed, the Sands take the form of Kaileena, who cleanses the Prince of the Sands that tainted him. Taking the Dagger of Time, she leaves with the intention of taking the Sands to a place where they can no longer cause harm.

I can't pinpoint even a single good thing about it, whereas I can immediately conjure many of its failings, but I just remember having some fun. Gimly M Super Reviewer. Oct 18, Having never played the game I didn't know much about what the plot was about but the games were big hits and popular enough to make a live action movie so I eventually gave it a watch and was very surprised, The story is very loyal to the games from what I seen in the games, Some nice action scenes and good effects, I didn't like the choice of actors but they did ok, As far as game to movies go it's probably one of the better ones, Even if it won't stand the test of time No pun intended I think maybe it could of been better if it wasn't made by Disney as they like to tone films down so much that if you're over the age of 11 it's not as enjoyable, But it could of been much worse so I can't complain too much, A good family film that is easy to watch even if you haven't played any of the games.

After being adopted as a child, Dastan Jake Gyllenhal is accused of killing his father the king and must escape and clear his name, and he meets Tamina Gemma Arterton , a woman she should hate after taking over her kingdom, but they soon grow to like eachother, and using a time machine she posesses called the hourglass, they might be able to fix whats been done.

The plot was ridiculous and stupid, it truly tried to hard to be a video game. Jake Gyllenhal did nothing great except talk, no changes from him. Effects were okay, kind of cheesy at points.

Overall it sucked, a very disappointing film. Bradley W Super Reviewer. Jul 25, Stop me if you have heard this before, but "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" starts with King Sharaman Ronald Pickup receiving intelligence that the holy city of Alamut is stockpiling weapons in aid of a planned revolt.

So while the Persian army is planning on attacking via the front door, the king's adopted son Dastan Jake Gyllenhaal takes his irregulars through the side door, allowing the city to be taken without much loss of life. But then the king is murdered and Nizam Ben Kingsley , the king's brother, blames Dastan, causing him to flee with Princess Tamina Gemma Arterton and a magic dagger. On the one hand, this is a broad fantasy that does little to develop its own version of ancient Persia.

Admittedly, the ostrich races are a nice touch and bound to offend some animal rights activist. By contrast, the movie takes itself too seriously and desperately wants to have something important to say about current events, thus possibly explaining the lack of irony in Jake Gyllenhaal's performance.

Keeping his American accent intact would have helped Dastan stand out as the outsider he is. Not helping matters is the lack of chemistry he shares with Gemma Arterton which is important if you are going to try and pull off some quality romantic bickering.

A cited example was the team discovering a tester that was good at finding severe bugs, so included her in one of their testing groups, giving her a development kit she could use to sort out those bugs. This was replicated, and managed to greatly increase the amount of bugs that could be found and fixed. The development team's enthusiasm was also high, which enabled the problems during development to be overcome.

Another element that needed to be cut after the demo was a griffin boss that would appear three times during the Prince's journey. For The Sands of Time , the team made improvements to the engine by adding additional animations between walking and running, enabling smoother character movement.

They also made custom animations for the character The engine made editing and fine-tuning the game very easy due to its easy-to-use tools. Using this as a base, they were able to focus on rapid integration of new elements into the game, and were also able to do quick testing and adjustments.

The team developed "substance" and "glow" systems, which respectively enabled natural movements of cloth and gave the lightning effects a more "magical" feel. The team size meant too many people were accessing the engine and were causing data to be overwritten, files to be corrupted, and the whole system to crash. They attempted to solve the problem using a "data monkey" solution which would allow for simultaneous access, but it came late in development and they did not risk making such a radical change to the system.

Instead, they set up a file server to manage check-in times, which could allow for management of access and prioritize critical work. It helped Mechner visualize the new Prince as a more mature character than the original. Despite this, Mecnher felt that the character could not fully shed the "happy-go-lucky" elements of One Thousand and One Nights. In retrospect, Mechner also felt that this inability to resolve this inherent conflict gave the character his charm.

Mechner also included specific references in the Prince's dialogue to stories from the Shahnameh. The story and the Prince were created for newcomers to the series.

The narrative of The Sands of Time was focused mistakes and second chances, while an unstated anti-war theme was also included by Mechner and showcased in the game's opening level. Its acquisition by the Prince was directly inspired by the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark , which had previously inspired the portrayal of the Prince in the original Prince of Persia. The palace of Azad was crafted to be the Prince's "playground", while some scenes developed the Prince's character the opening attack on the Maharaja's palace, activating Azad's traps on the instructions of a deranged guard were deliberately meant to be morally dubious to the player while increasing empathy with the character.

Mechner's main goal for The Sands of Time was keeping the narrative simple. He also aimed to mix narrative and gameplay genres that might normally clash with one-another. The Prince's father, Sharaman, and the Sultan of Azad, were lost authority figures that added to burden of the Prince's actions as humans transformed into Sand Creatures.

The Prince's narration was difficult for Mechner to integrate into gameplay. It needed to be written to work on two levels: first to be understandable for first-time players, and to gain greater significance upon future playthroughs. The narration also served to give gentle hints to the player, and expand upon the setting and add depth to the experience.

The Prince's interactions with Farah were also an important factor. As part of the character interaction, Farah was deliberately designed not to be a perfect archer, sometimes hitting the Prince if he strayed into her line of fire. Only twenty percent of what Ubisoft Montreal intended to use for Farah made the final product. Many of the features planned for Farah were removed to meet shipping schedules. For the sound effects, the team worked with sound company Dane Tracks to create most of the game's sound effects, with the rest being done in Montreal.

To make the enemies in the game stand out, mixing an organic and evil feeling with whispering sounds, rather than using sound effects similar to zombies.

In addition to story-based dialogue and banter, context-specific dialogue was written for certain situations. Over one thousand lines of dialogue were written, though over half of them were cut. To help with voice recording, the recording team created a graph to help the actors playing the Prince and Farah time their exchanges correctly. Aside from some exceptions which played in sequence, all comments made by Farah when the Prince did a specific thing were stand-alone responses.

Speaking in a interview, Lowenthal felt "that [he] in a way originated that role".
